I walked miles under the hot sun,
I combed every place possible,
Through the rainstorms and the glaring sun.
All Just For You.

I revamped and changed,
I took extra time and effort,
And just smiled beautifully.
All Just For You.

But what i get from all these years,
With the sweat, teras, and pain,
Was just a show of my insignificance.
My unimportance was clearly spelt,
Without even a word of sorry.

I sacrificed nights of sleep,
I wasted my health and energy,
I used all i have and was left with,
All Just For You.

I quarelled with mum and dad,
I defended your qualities and actions,
And im always behind to carry you when you tire,
All Just For You.

I never asked for much,
A recognition would be good,
A returned love would be miraculous.
Yet you just gave me aches and pain,
As i hear the soft cracking sound

Perhaps the cracking sound of my heart
Is too soft to be heard amongst your joy and laughter

Note: this is my first attempt at writing song lyrics. it still sounded abit like poetry.. hmm..
